Hello Wayne,
 I know its been a long time since we talked, but, I hope you might remember me. My name is John Parker, and I used to be the owner of a black hardtop 1963 1/2 with the NASCAR fastback, with a two tone red interior and a 289 hi-po motor. We used to sometimes meet up at Oldtown in Kissimmee for Galaxie day. I lost my car to a fire a few years ago (2004), and that is why I have not been there for a long time. Anyway, the reason I'm writing to you is that I was going through some things yesterday, and I found my original price sticker and owner's manual in a box. I was thinking about how proud I felt to have them for my car, and how rare the real ones are, and how even copies are hard to find.I know that its not the same when its not the papers for your car, but, I was thinking that maybe you, or someone you know may want them. I think you can understand how my wife and I felt about losing the car, and how important these papers are to us.So I would like them to go to a Galaxie owner that will care about having them as much as I cared about having them too. Even though the price sticker says that the cars color is white, my car was painted black due to my personal choice. I'm really hoping that they have a '63 mid-year with the NASCAR fastback roof like I had. I guess you can tell how much I miss my car... after all, I still use the nick name galaxieman. please contact me at my home phone or email....

   My wife and I loved being owners of a car as special as our galaxie, and hope to get another one someday,(maybe a rag top) But that takes money we don't have right now. It would be nice to talk to you again, so I hope to hear from you soon,.

 Due to health reasons my Galaxie 500 XL is up for sale.  I am the 3rd owner always garage kept.. NO RUST . Has 390 ci. 300 hp. pwr disc brakes ( added ), also new griffin aluminum rad, Sanderson headers. ORIGINAL 52,500 miles car is ready to drive anywhere you want. Good gears for the highway. 300 ratio rear gives 20 mpg highway has new Holley and may other new parts, Cragar wheels . This car is in EXCELLENT CONDITION  N.A.D.A. book on this car is  $26,000. I am selling it for $21,500 and well worth it.
