GALAXIELAND, is a chapter, of a NATIONAL, classic car club, called the FORD GALAXIE CLUB OF AMERICA. The FGCOA started in 1983, and now has approaching 8000 members world wide. There are 10 chapters in the USA, 2 affilliated Galaxie registries, and other chapters, forming in other countries. Because GALAXIELAND, represents the FGCOA, any member must be a member of, or join the FGCOA, to be a member of GALAXIELAND. We, here at GALAXIELAND, can register new members for both, the FGCOA and GALAXIELAND. If old FGCOA memberships have expired, we can renew those as well. The FGCOA membership dues are annually. There is also a lifetime membership available. Details of the FGCOA memberships can be found on the national website, at www.galaxieclub.com . The membership of GALAXIELAND, is a little different than the national membership. Starting October 1st, 2006, GALAXIELAND offers a ONE TIME membership fee, of $25.00. Anyone joining GALAXIELAND, will get a free GALAXIELAND t-shirt. There are over 100 color combinations to choose from.

The lettering is available in mulitcolors as well.

White and black are the most popular choice of lettering.

Additonal shirts maybe also purchased. They are $20 each, up to 2XX. Any shirts that are ordered in 2XX or larger, are $23.00. Existing GALAXIELAND members ARE elgible for a t-shirt as well. From then on, as long as your NATIONAL membership is renewed annually, then you will never have to renew your GALAXIELAND membership. If you have never been in the FGCOA, or GALAXIELAND, then your total membership would be $65.00. After the first year, then you would continue to renew your national membership annually. GALAXIELAND, has no control or pricing on the national dues. They are $40.00 annually, at this time, which includes first class postage of the bi-monthly magazine, called the "GALAXIE GAZETTE", published by the FGCOA. The price of the FGCOA dues may change, at the descretion of the FGCOA. If you join the FGCOA as a LIFETIME member, and payments are complete, then, you may also join GALAXIELAND, as a lifetime member, at NO CHARGE. Lifetime members of the FGCOA, that are in the GALAXIELAND chapter area as members, will automaticlly become lifetime members of GALAXIELAND. GALAXIELAND is a non profit group, and excepts donations at the regional meets held twice a year. We, at GALAXIELAND, have no President, Vice President, or any other officers. Our experience in the past with car clubs, is that some car clubs, turn into car groups, or "clicks", with a few couples acting as "leaders", and the rest of the club becomes unequal..unbalanced...left out. This, oftenly enough, is created by the "political" leaders, of the car club. At GALAXIELAND, EVERYONE, is treated equally. Decretion against chapter members will NOT be tolerated.
