Our first trip to DAWSONVILLE, was in 2005. Some Galaxieland

 members went up, to support the appearance, of the

LIVING LEGENDS OF RACING, who were attending the

38TH Annual Moonshine Festival. We arrived in style...

This is at check in, at the Super 8 in Dalonegha, Ga....

One of our members, also thought is was a KODAK moment. Once we

unloaded the car, we were off to Dawsonville, 15 minutes away. Upon

arriving in town...

We arrived at the Dawsonville Pool Hall, and there were some early

arrivals to the Moonshine Festival...

We enjoyed the event Dawsonville so much, we decided to go back

in 2006...

With the SUNLINER loaded again, this time with our Galaxieland

Chapter tents as well, we were off to Dawsonville, and the 39th

Annual Moonshine Festival. The NEWLY formed, ATLANTA GALAXIES

CHAPTER, of the FORD GALAXIE CLUB OF AMERICA, was in need

of assistance, to have a Galaxie meet, so we at GALAXIELAND,

decided to lend a hand...

This next car, was an exact replica, to the car I joined the FGCOA,

and started the Galaxieland chapter with, before I restored it...

This "COOL CAR" could have been bought the day this picture was

taken. Wonder if the owner DID ever sell it. So could this next '63

Well, after a couple of days it was time to head out for home...

On the return trip, it is always nice to stop in Madison, Ga.

Downtown can be reach by taking historic business U.S. 441...

Of course, you MUST make time to do a little antique shopping...

We hope you enjoyed the tour of the Galaxie meet in Dawsonville. The 40th Annual Moonshine Festival, will be a success as well.
