MISSION 61..... seems to be, the perfect title of this, a personal mission, that became an "adventure". This mission, to bring a 1961 Galaxie Sunliner convertible personally, from Wallingford, CT., to Plant City, FLA., instead of having it shipped, brought  FGCOA members from the southeast, in more contact, with members in the northeast, in the most extraordinary, and exciting manner. Being that this is a page on a chapter website, of a GALAXIE car club, and the fact that this trip started in Titusville, Florida, the SPACE center of the southeast, the parties who endeavored this trip, thought that the term "mission" would be a perfect fit. Besides the fact, that this mission ended back in the Cape Canaveral town. The significance of this particular car, will be unveiled later in this documentary, but through out this adventure, you will see some of the most extreme Galaxies. From one EXTREME to the next... from the worst junk, to the upmost WORLD CLASS paint prep work on not one, but TWO... indentical twin cars, 1200 miles apart, and yet, prepared by the same person. These are two of the most rarest, and desired Galaxies of all. The demand for these cars, has BLASTED off in the last 2-3 years, to a galaxy, full of desire, and below, is where we will begin....
